WIC WORKER ECOSYSTEM

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WIC CHAIN GLOBAL ("WIC Worker", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use wicworker.com (the "Site") and the WIC Worker Ecosystem (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your work email address, password (stored as a one-way hash — we cannot see it), display name, and your selected Coworker(s).

Usage and metering data. To operate metered billing ($1.00 per active coworker-hour), we record when your Coworkers are actively working, the duration of active sessions, the prompts you submit, and the outputs generated for you ("Service Data").

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive transaction confirmations and limited billing metadata (such as invoice history and the last four digits / expiry of your card). Your full card number is handled by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy governs its processing.

Technical data. We automatically collect standard log data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps — used for security, debugging, and service improvement.

2. How We Use Information

To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your prompts or Service Data to train shared models without your separate, explicit consent.

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Service and the Coworkers
  • To measure active coworker-hours and bill you accurately
  • To process payments and prevent fraud (via Stripe)
  • To communicate with you about your account, billing, and Service updates
  • To secure the Service and investigate abuse

3. How We Share Information

Stripe, Inc. — payment processing (card data goes directly to Stripe).

Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, databases, and logging, bound by confidentiality obligations.

AI model providers — prompts are transmitted to the providers that power the Coworkers, solely to generate your requested outputs.

Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a minimal set of cookies / local storage:

Preferences — e.g., remembering your selected Coworker or UI settings.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

  • Strictly necessary — session authentication so you stay signed in

5. Data Retention

Account information is kept while your account is active. Service Data (prompts, outputs, metering records) is retained as long as needed to operate the Service, resolve billing disputes, and meet legal obligations — typically up to 24 months after your last activity, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion as described below.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to:

Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email wicchains@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days.

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
  • Delete personal information we hold about you (subject to legal and billing-record exceptions)
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share as defined by the CCPA)

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data-protection laws may differ from yours.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change, and for material changes we will notify you by email or a notice on the Site before they take effect.
